His core area of interest and expertise is in Abdominal Surgery, Skin & soft tissue Surgery, Breast & Thyroid surgery, Trauma surgery, Burn care & skin grafting, Groin and perineal surgery, Upper GI diagnostic endoscopy.
His academic credentials are MBBS (Hons with Gold medals, Awarded Pfizer Gold medal in MBBS and the best MBBS graduate of Utkal University), MS (Surgery) from PGI Chandigarh in 1981, FICS, FAIS, FMAS, FIAGES, FACRSI.
