Stones are crystallized minerals such as calcium or magnesium salts which develop in the urinary system. They form when urine becomes highly concentrated or when a person remains dehydrated on a regular basis. The size and number of stones vary in patients. In some cases,small stones may pass through urine and may not require any treatment .However, some larger stones which can not pass with urine require intervention either through medication or surgery.Untreated stones can lead to serious infections and health complications in the patient.

Prostatitis is an inflammation of the prostate and sometimes the area around it. There are four types of prostatitis, each with a range of symptoms.

Acute bacterial prostatitis
Chronic bacterial prostatitis
Chronic prostatitis without infection
Asymptomatic inflammatory prostatitis

Treatments can include:

Anti-inflammatory medicines along with warm sitz baths
Antibiotic medicine for infectious prostatitis
Pain medications
Muscle relaxants

Surgical removal of the infected portions of the prostate or total removal of the prostate gland
Supportive therapies for chronic prostatitis, including stool softeners and prostate massage etc.

Hematuria Treatment

Haematuria refers to the presence of blood in the urine. This is actually a sign that there is a kidney stone or a tumor in the urinary tract (Kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder, prostate, and urethra), or infections in the urinary tract etc. Treatment ranges from antibiotic therapy to surgery, depending on the underlying cause. Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) is also a common cause of hematuria in males which occurs in elderly age and can be treated by endoscopic surgery & Laser surgery.
