Dr. Kali Prasad Mishra, has a brilliant academic and professional career with 28 year of experience in the field of Urology & Kidney Transplant in several reputed multi-speciality hospitals in the Healthcare Industry post qualification.
He is the first Urologist in Bhubaneswar who started the Urology Unit in different corporate hospitals and private medical college in Bhubaneswar. He has performed Prostate Surgery [ TURP], Trained in Laser and Conventional Method, OIU / TURBT/ Cancer Surgery Redical Procedures, Kidney & Ureteric Stone Surgery –URS/PCNL/ Lithotripsy & Laser Procedures, Laparoscopic Urology Surgery / Andrology Procedures, Reconstructive Pediatric Male and Female Procedures.
He has started the renal transplant unit at Kalinga Hospital & Hi-Tech Medical College and performed independently 50 Renal Transplant procedures with team in Kalinga Hospital & Hi-Tech Hospital.
He has developed sub-speciality in Urology with special interest in Reconstructive & Uro-oncology in Kalinga Hospital & Hi-Tech Hospital. Has experience in conducting radical cancer surgeries and orthotopic neobladder reconstruction and other urological procedures.
His academic credentials are MS (General Surgery) from Utkal University, MCh (Genito Urinary Surgery/Urology) from PGI Chandigarh.
He has previously worked with many Multi Speciality hospitals like Kalinga Hospital, Shanta Memorial Rehabilitation Centre, Synod Hospital (Mizoram), HCG Panda Cancer Hospital. His last organisation was Hi-Tech Hospital (Bhubaneswar) as Head Department – Urology.
