Dr. Manabhanjan Jena has a brilliant academic & professional career more than 11 years post qualification in the field of Interventional Cardiology with multi-speciality hospitals.
He has expertise in non-invasive cardiology (stress tests/TMT, echocardiography/ doppler, holter monitoring, HUTT and manage ICCU) and invasive/ Interventional cardiology (coronary angiograms, peripheral angiograms which includes renal and carotid, Lt & Rt. Heart catheterizations, IABP & IVC filter insertions, permanent pace-makers/ AICD, CRT-D, Valvuloplasty which includes BMV, BPV, BAV, Coarctoplasty, Peripheral angioplasty which includes renal, carotid, lower & upper limb interventions, Elective and Primary coronary angioplasty, Peripheral angioplasty & stenting, aortic aneurysm device implants (AAA devices/ thoracic aorta aneurysm device, rotablation atherectomy & IVUS, Percutaneous device closure of ASD, PDA, VSD Etc.
His academic credentials are MD (Internal Medicine) from Berhampur University, D.M. Cardiology from Utkal University, FSCAI.
He has worked with IMS and SUM Hospital (Bhubaneswar) as Associate Professor & Consultant (Interventional Cardiology). He also worked with SCB Medical College & Hospital (Cuttack) as Senior Resident (Dept. Of Cardiology), VIMSAR (Burla).
He is a life member of Cardiological Society of India, Association of Physicians of India, Indian Society of Hypertension, Indian Medical Association, Indian College of Cardiology, American College of Cardiology, European Society of Cardiology. He is also the distinguished fellow of Society of Coronary Angiography & Interventions.
He has 10 publications in cardiology national as well as International Journals and has received Global Healthcare Excellence Award, Prime Time as the most promising Interventional Cardiologist in the year 2019.
