Dr. Mahapatra completed his MBBS from VSS Medical College, Burla in 1995. He is passed his MD (Psychiatry) degree from Central Institute of Psychiatry, Kanke, Jharkhand.
Dr. Mahapatra worked as Jr. Resident from 2004 to 2010 and also worked as PG & Jr. Resident at Central Institute of Psychiatry from 2010 to 2013. Now Dr. Mahapatra working as Asst. Prof. in the Dept. of Psychiatry at Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar from 2014.
